Are there any drop in by donation classes?

Thanks!

Yes there is a Karma class on Saturdays @4 PM. The suggested donation amount is $5 and it goes to a charity every week.

How hot does the room get? i am claustrophobic and tend to panic if i cant get a fresh breath of air i dont last very long in hot tubs or sauna, would love to do this class but not sure if i could handle it.

The room is at a healthily perfect 104-5 degrees, with 40 - 45% humidity. IDEAL for forging a new body and honing the mind. For those with anxiety issues, including claustrophobia, the primary point for you on your first class is to...BREATHE. There is so much air in the room, you just have to decide to inhale and take it in. Too, you can position your mat by the door (for peace of mind, more than as an escape route! ) and do your best to relax the mind and breathe the entire class. Keep in mind it is normal to be uncomfortable at first and be sure to give yourself a fair 2 week trial, at least. You're worth it...

I have a mitral prolapse, which means my heart will beat irregularily, sometimes with stress,
eating too much, too much alcohol, or sometimes in too much heat for too long a period.
Would this be a problem with this type of Yoga?
Thanks

I can't be sure if Hot Yoga will cause any issues for your Mitral Valve Prolapse condition or not...I can only recommend that you try it out for yourself and see how you feel. There are also some forums online that talk about MVP and exercise. Bikram Yoga is all about getting full benefit of the postures at what ever level you happen to be at...this means that how ever much of each posture you are able to do is giving you full benefit. I find if you listen to your body it will tell you what you need to do to get full benefit.
